The First Yokefellow Bucket Is Live

By jhinjuju | Jun 16, 2026 | Last edited Jun 26, 2026 | 2 min read

The first active public bucket is live: a credit-backed identity bucket where users can collect critters, craft limited profile identities, and withdraw unspent bucket credit.

The First Yokefellow Bucket Is Live: Build Your Identity

Yokefellow’s first functional public bucket is live.

The Yokefellow Identity Bucket is the first working example of what a bucket can do: hold a public purpose, connect to a policy, issue NFT outputs, support offerings, track user credit, and give people something they can use inside Yokefellow.

This first bucket is focused on identity.

Users can collect Yokefellow identity NFTs, pull craft ingredients, and begin building a profile presence through NFTs designed for profile-facing use on supported site surfaces.

What the Identity Bucket does

The Identity Bucket issues NFTs under the Yokefellow Identities collection.

Some NFTs are simple profile identities. Some are craft ingredients. Some are limited crafted identities made by burning eligible input NFTs.

The current craft ingredient set includes:

  • Sheep
  • Frog
  • Newt
  • Raven

These critters can be collected and used in recipes for limited identity outputs.

Bucket credit comes first

The Identity Bucket uses a credit model.

Depositing YES into the bucket does not immediately buy an NFT. It creates bucket credit for the depositing wallet.

That matters because unspent credit remains available. A user can use available credit for eligible offerings in the bucket, or withdraw unspent credit before it is spent.

The basic flow is:

Deposit YES → receive bucket credit → choose an offering → spend credit → receive the NFT output

For craft offerings, the user may also need to burn the required NFT inputs as part of the recipe.

Crafting identities

Crafting turns ingredient NFTs into limited identity NFTs.

Current planned recipes include:

  • Burn 1 Sheep, 1 Frog, 1 Newt, and 1 Raven to craft a Witch
  • Burn 10 Sheep to craft a Shepherd
  • Burn 5 Frogs to craft a Prince
  • Burn 3 Ravens to craft a Ravenscribe
  • Burn 2 Newts to craft a Trailkeeper

Crafting is meant to be final. When a recipe burns input NFTs, those inputs are consumed and cannot be recovered.

Why this bucket matters

This is not only an NFT drop.

The Identity Bucket is a working demonstration of Yokefellow’s bucket system. It shows how a public bucket can combine:

  • a public brief
  • a published policy
  • withdrawable user credit
  • paid offerings
  • fixed outputs
  • random outputs
  • craft ingredients
  • burn-to-craft recipes
  • limited supplies
  • profile-facing identity use

That is the core idea behind Yokefellow: buckets can hold rules, funds, outputs, records, and user participation in one public structure.

Start here

The Identity Bucket is the best place to begin with Yokefellow.

Read the brief, review the policy, then use the bucket when you are ready to try the first working loop.

Unspent bucket credit can be withdrawn until it is spent. Craft inputs are only burned when used in a craft recipe.

Start with the Yokefellow Identity Bucket and begin building your profile identity.
